Description:
Quote:

Hellgate: London is a new perspective on RPGs, combining the depth and customizability of Role-Playing games with the immersive excitement of first-person games. Its play is fast-paced without relying upon lightning-fast reflexes to achieve a high level of success or enjoyment.

Features
Quote:

With dynamically generated levels, massive quantities of randomly created items, chance events and story driven quests, no two gaming experiences are ever the same. Differing levels of rarity and modification potential across items and skills means that every game played a unique event.

While Hellgate: London stands on its own as a single player game, it also provides a compelling cooperative multiplayer experience through our dedicated online gaming destination. By creating unique and individualized game play “instances” within a vast online community, gamers get all of the best parts of traditional massive multiplayer games without the common downsides.

Players create a hero and then battle through innumerable hordes of demons while completing quests and advancing through experience levels and branching skill paths. A robust, flexible skill and spell system, highly-customizable items, and a massive variety of randomly generated equipment allow players to create a character that is truly unique.

It's futile discussing it now, the developer has already stated that it is constantly changing until they close the open beta, which hasn't started yet and probably won't start until november, if you watch the developer interviews on ign it will be more clear Smile

To be fair Diablo is an RPG, it's just more of a loot 'em up than a read 'em up. Not a fan of extremes myself, though. Good balance of the two = winnar.

Huh, Huxley? What does this game have to do with Huxley? Huxley is a sci-fi MMOFPS. I only see this game supporting coop online, but how many players? I don't think it comes close to Huxley in numbers, it's not that kind of game.

I think deelix was refering to how both games are a fps/rpg hybrid.
