As I've said in E3 topic. This seem to be lazy copy paste from the previous version only with the addition of women teams.
We can clearly see that those scripted 'on rails animations' are still there and there is no way you can interrupt them. Defence AI is still stupid as it was since '90s. Fuck I didn't even knew they removed online frendly match lobby from the PC version in FIFA 15.

same as every year.
according to the rest: nope you cant say that yet. there is no real gameplay. i heard from a few guys who got the chance to play it yesterday in berlin that the game on the right track, cause its a bit slower again and midfield building game is getting important again (really hoping for that).
and they havent removed it from the pc version, they jsut havent implemented it in the "nextgen" version. fifa14 for xboner and ps4 didnt even had guest mode.

Not as every year. PC version of FIFA 14 is using older engine than eg. FIFA 15 etc..
Defence definitely looks stupid:

No pressing, just jogging around like chickens without heads. And we are speaking of Barcelona's defence in this case.
Yes this is not a simulator nor it should be but it still doesn't mean that game should be this fustraiting. Not at least in my opinion.

you know that video has just staged scenes yes? you dont know what happened before or if they just placed the playerse this way.
and ofc i know fifa14 on pc had the old engine, i talked about the new version of fifa which was first introduced with fifa14 on xboner and ps4.
hope they bring back the lobbys this year as well as fast online friendly without must having some fuckers in your friends list. just wanna play a few games without ranking etc

If by any chance they'll fix FIFA 15's nonexistent defending and midfield's consistency, it's because they'll purposely gimp some other crucial gameplay aspect/feature in this one, so that they can come up with a FIFA 17 that coincidentally improves said handicapped part while gimping a new one. One step forwards, one step backwards and one sideways to gently screw people over with class, as per tradition.
And it's not that Konami is better, on the contrary (hell we may get another 360 port this year, go figure  ), it's just the general approach towards football games that has always been so incredibly lazy, and it's even lazier nowadays. So much that they're completely putting off even me, they'll be damned

The main reason Fifa is stagnating is because Konami can't pull their heads out of their arses.
EA worked pretty hard to improve Fifa from being a laughing stock to the defacto football "simulator". And since Konami just couldn't handle it of course Fifa started stagnating.

sure thats a point, but i dont see where the fucking problem for those fuck canadian bastards is. they should just watch what the good players of the community and the serious esports player are saying. fix that, bam , awesome game. many points, but always small changes would make a huge difference

Lack of competition will always make corporations lazy.
And yes, Fifa is a product of a corporation, it's not really a product of game developers.

in the end it is, its a huge money making machine due to the ultimate fag team. and thats why in that mode the momentum is even stronger than offline or in saison mode. they want to keep bad players on the track to spend more money for coins

some guys who could play it at e3 mentioned the usual lob pass stuff isnt as annnoying as in 15. and mementum seemed to be turned down a bit, but thats only a first impression. that momentum shit cant really be judged after only 2-3 games
