I gave this a go and .... yet another outstanding game by a French Indy dev team.
Smile

Gameplay is absolutely fantastic.

It’s funish, but there is a lot of yank and poor design decisions. Controls are weird and inconsistent. You fall of cliffs without reason when often the right way to play is twisting your body in impossible positions. The autosave featuere combined with resource management also sucks. You can end up stuck on a cliff and goodluck returning down and finding some food again. Resources can be turned of though.

The atmosphere is nice, but this game needs a bit more development time.

I read the survival mechanics are a bit much. little food to find all around, and hunger/thirst meters go down too fast (as per usual). You can turn it down but it doesn't go away completely.
Going down is the easiest Very Happy you can just use the rope to rappel down, you don't need to climb.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

For now, I have too much food but not enough backpack space (as per usual) Laughing

But I guess it is because I didn't climb high enough yet. Smile

As long as you avoid the red routes the game isn’t all that hard. But I rage quited 3-4 times to realize that.

This was my last rage quit, i'm done. I did a red route. At some point, impossible to progress (2/3 up). It looked easy looking up but at a certain point there was no progressing. Then a green route. Made it to a cave at the top after 30 minutes. Inside the cave there is a cliff and a little wall to pass. No option to save. The wall looked easy but suddenly there is a section that seems hard to cross. Starting to wiggle, use a piton but it isn't allowed "rock to hard" and then fall into the abyss and back to were i started.

Fuck this.

Story mode allows you to rewind after a fall, it's so much more relaxing Very Happy
