What's this?
Isn't it just BG with the BG2 engine - like the BG Trilogy mod?

If the Baldurs release is a success, there will be other oldies like this.

But is it the original or some remade HD?

Would they really make a new website just to announce plain and unchanged BG series coming to Steam? Don't think so... We'll see...

I don't see why not. We all know marketing is what sells.
Just call it Baldur's Gate HD - and people will scramble to waste their money.

Notice how the skull is all crispy and sharp?
Hope it's a HD remake
Or better yet, a sequel developed by Obsidian
Steam - The Poopflinger

It doesn't say "rising" - it says "Raise Dead: Infinity Engine" -- the Shadowy Figure is casting the necromancer spell "Raise Dead" and targeting the Infinity Engine, basically meaning they're bringing it back to life. This could be a re-release of the BG saga, or hell, bringing back the Infinity Engine? That could even mean BG3 made with the old engine.

Infinity Engine was used in Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale games. And in Planescape: Torment, of course.
