Wife has a bad knee, got worse during pregnancy, crutches and a challenge to move around. On an obgyn visit she wanted to be left in front while i park, someone openned the door and hit her, she fell and now has 2 knees in 10/10 pain, cant walk, cant bend, cant go to the bathroom. Currently in the hospital and im dreading what this will be at home. The pain has me crying, im hopeless and cant vent or do.anything. A lot of.regret for leaving her do her thing or use crutches instead of pushing for a wheelchair. Ill do what i need to do but holy, im broken today and i cant vent anywhere. Thx

Try not to dwell on shoula, coulda, woulda.
Regret is the added weight you place on your shoulders while also carrying the burden of a situation.

Sure, but you will quickly find that your extremism makes us unable to agree what a mental patient is. So it is truly no point in doing so. Copy this quote as well, or shall I?

It's not your fault. Accidents happens even when you try to avoid them.
All you can (and should) do is to be supportive and helpful. If it's too much at times, take a break and calm your nerves. She's in a lot of pain which obviously affects her mood which in turn affects how she acts. It's the pain talking.
Keep safe and sound.

Lol wish money could solve this, pregnant, limited painkiller use, cesarea is a brutal option to get access to real painkillers but lets see, they are giving her stuff and want to wrap her knees up

This has gotten bad enough that im reviewing the situation with a lawyer.... We are seriously afraid this might cause long term effects on her so covering our bases. Its bad enough that she is going into induced labor tomorrow. Wish us luck

Baby has been born, all good with her. Wife was put on meda they wanted, pain is still there. They are planning to discharge us in 2 days. Is this really.how healthcare goes? A friend keeps telling me to get discharged and go.to a specialist because these guys wont go in depth, she cant move at all without blowing in pain. this is sad and nuts. Im devastated but ill keep my face up
Got a law firm to review the case via phone, they did not seem to find anything worthwhile and dropped. What a shitshow, im contacting more lawyers and will try calling specialidt

Both my kids were born through cesarea, its actually a lot less brutal than normal childbirth. Unless you mean something else.
edit: Was late, lol.
Congrats on the bundle of love. Its really sad how unhuman these situations are handled in the States. I wish you courage!
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

We did, in theory we spent 5 days in ER suffering because these fucking idiots couldnt be bothered to call the ortho surgeon. The guy came in, 5 mins later, "its this, get a cortizone shot there"
The injection was a 2 min visit, now lets HOPE its that, because she is still in pain but at home, now i attend her, the baby and the dog. Fuck me.
Holy shit babies are nerve wracking lol, i feel it might snap if i do anything slightly wrong.
Cesarean requires recovery and movement (or so they say), my wife cant move, literally, it would be insane if cesarean was involved.
