 Spoiler:

Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, UK, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Andorra, San Marino, the Vatican, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, (North) Macedonia, Bosnia-Hercegovina are not in EU while territory wise completely or partially inside Europe.

While first 4 are quite clear why they are not part of the collective, what about the rest of them?

Out of all the dismantled Yugoslavia only Croatia found its way into EU. I wonder why.

Not so mystical in Norway's case. People have always voted against it. Believing the EU will ruin the country by claiming and/or force us to share our natural resources which me make money from.

Considering Yogoslavia
Serbia is a Russian puppet anyway, Montenegro as well probably. You forgot Slovenia btw as a EU member. The others are probably to weak a state to join.
And to be honest the EU is turning into a complete dissaster, I doubt new members are serious about joining at the moment.

The rest.
Iceland to far away.
Switersland and Norway to rich (and wise to join).
The rest are not real countries but are under the umbrella of their parent state.

Edit: didn't know Norway voted against the EU. Like we tried in the Netherlands...twice Sad
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_Dutch_European_Constitution_referendum
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Dutch_Ukraine%E2%80%93European_Union_Association_Agreement_referendum

(the Ukraïne referendum was defacto a anti-EU one, cause by the rules at the time this was the only law they could organise a referendum for)

The solution of policians: ignore the results, ban referanda. That's european democracy for you.

So perhaps Switserland and Norway are real democracies and the rest of the EU arn't.

Norway still has people with brains in charge and UK got some cause they were wise enough to leave.

EU is a fucking mess and only brings the countries that belong to it down. Everyone should leave EU.

Yes, Montenegro has been a member of NATO since June 5, 2017. It was the 29th country to join the alliance.

Serbia is in a borderline civil war state now, they just had a fight in the parliament with smoke bombs.

Love with Russia is gone, they still have religious ties.

They also want Eu. Nato they don't want for reasons Laughing

False. Those in charge want us to join the EU. Its the people who vote against it. What politicians have done is bury our heads so far up EU's arse that we're more or less in EU thanks to the rotten EØS contract and zero willingness to go against unreasonable EU demands.

EU has its pros and cons but its not nearly as bad as it would be if it weren’t there.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

It's bad

-It's an extra layer of bureaucracy that is not needed and wasting money. Even for net recipients: they waste money on their EU funded projects just to get the money.

-It's not democractic. Like today Ursula von der Vomit wants to spend 800 billion of others people money while she is a non elected official, wannebe stateswoman. Claiming: this is a big moment for the EU...bureaucrats cause the take every opertunity to seize power.
Energy transtition: more power to the EU, Covid: EU wants more power. Ukraine: the bureaucrats want more power
This will go from bad to worse.

-Oh it was good for the economy they said Aww Yeah

Well you don't here that argument any more.

Well that festering old cunt rakes in cash so much she's immune to any damage she or her peers can cause the economy. Same as all politicians.

I have yet to see any pros, all we get is stupid fucking rules and laws by EU that make no sense whatsoever and lose money for even being in EU, like sending "aid" to countries that definitely dont need it while ignoring our own, Finland is full of dumb fucks that have to be the first one to "help" others regardless of how much in deep shit our own country is.
We would have way less dumb laws if it wasnt for EU, for example the new proposal regarding old/non-running cars...

She is very democratically elected by the European parliament, they picked her and she won via majority, a large one.

The problem is that the EU parlement sucks and is dysfunctional.

Good democracy only functions when there is public debate about it. Nobody cares about the EU parlement, hence the EU bureaucrats can do whatever they please.

Ursala v/d Vomit is elected by the EU factions. These are not democratic. The national parties join an EU faction. But those EU factions are so distant from voters, they have carte blanche.
Like in dutch politics. VVD (conservative liberal and for years the conservative faction in dutch politics, not so fond of EU when there are elections) and D66 (leftist liberal, basicaly extreme left and in love with the EU) are in the same EU faction. While in national politics they are like night and day (well during elections, cause after elections they are bff's), in the EU, they are in the same faction. They don't give a fuck about what voters want, they just do what they please cause the public/press don't give a fuck.

The EU is very dysfunctional as a democracy and power hungry people will take advantage of that.

I guess this is the case in many countries, including my own.
