Rejoice my brothers!!

The trailer/teaser is here:

Features Sean "Boromir" Bean! (He is always good in things like this! aka "LOTR" and "Sharpe")

Based on the books: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Game_of_Thrones

And there even is a boardgame (+ expansion): http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/6472/a-game-of-thrones

While waiting for proper Dragonlance - this rocks!

Nice looks good HBO are rarely bad in my experience Smile. The books are great, halfway through the second one.

Too bad the children cant be the same age in the tv series as they are in the book.

Sean Bean is awesome, the books are awesome, the trailer looks good, definitely has a lot of potential.

Thank god it's not from the channel that produced the ungodly abomination that is Legend of the Seeker.

I hope they can make it interesting, halfway through book three the series begins to lose its magic. Judging by the pacing, the story will need twenty books to end. Stupid fantasy writers and their need to drag their stories as much as possible Sad
Still, it's hbo so quality is assured.

That is the key sentence here. I was never disappointed with what HBO can offer. It is going to be awesome!

Game of Thrones S01E00 720p Wink

It´s a nice little "inside the series preview thingy". All the characters are introduced and it´s a good view if one havent read the series.

Don't like some of the actors.
Jaime looks like a fag.
Jon is a wuss.
Ned is fat.
Deny is meh.

Looking forward to this. This and the Thomas Covenant chronicles are probably my favourite fantasy series. The good guys don't always win.. I love it. Smile

Naw not really, it's just the heavy winter clothes in the beginning, looks quite normal in other scenes. Plus it's the equivalent of our medieval times, nobles tended to be chubby - if they managed to live old enough. Very Happy

like fisk hinted, thats not hard achieve. I like the books (the sword of truth) so it's a very painful series for me (that it exists, i was exited for it before i actually saw it).

A friend of mine is dying to see this series. Think there will be a chance of a possible leak of the 1st episode?

Maybe, but since those leaks are never HD, they might as well not exist.

I'm glad you liked it Smile

And I'm actually pretty stocked as well, it looked great and can't wait to get my hands on it in HD Very Happy

This will have to be my fix until he releases the next book!
