Hands down one of my favorite FPS multiplayer games back in the day. Think I mentioned that here...a few times.
This and Duke 3D. soo many days of starting up a 1v1 with a friend at like 8pm and going "Shit I see the sun. I gotta go" hours later.
So many memories unplugging my BBS phone line to play 1v1 with friends, then paying for a 2nd (well 3rd BBS was 2nd), phone line in the house just to be able to play when I wanted.
Probably one of the many games that started my preference for "Can I play it with friends?" requirement of games I get as first thing I look at before getting them.
But dunno if I want to buy/play a remake of a game I use to love with better textures. Rather leave the rose tinted goggles of what it felt like to me back then, then relive them and remember why "Don't meet your heroes" saying exists

I didn't know they had a 1st No idea who that is.
Dunno if I am old, different, or the oddball out. I game (no exageration) like 30+ hours a week with friends, I don't know 75% of the channels people post here about gaming. and 20% of what's left I only know in name and a handful of videos, from seeing here.

They added block and parry to hexen The cleric was not supposed to be a beast in melee, the morning star was just something to use when you didn't have ammo. Kind of messes up the cleric's whole power curve when you can one shot enemies with parry attacks. Cleric is supposed to be crap in the beginning but OP once you get more weapons.
