OH MY GOD, its is the best bread. Well not really bread. By definition of 'what' it is, it is. But it's more a pastry/cake/I dunno culinary terms Razz

Here in US it usually has chopped walnuts in it. I prefer the one with chopped pecans. Soft warm cake like bread with banana and brown sugar flavor. With little bits of nutty walnut/pecan taste bits scattered in (go light on adding them), for that taste and texture.

Goddamn is it good. And better if you use soft bananas. The ones still edible, but right on the edge of being tossed out in a day or two. (Here it's usually why its made. To use them instead of waiting a day to decide to throw them out)
I want some now...

Great, I have walnuts at home too. I might give it a shot tomorrow, the bananas might need a day or two to soften up.

I've stopped eating bread, but i think making my own wouldnt really count Wink

Banana bread is probably a bit like Mac & Cheese, in the way that few in Sweden even knows what it is, while in US its super common. Same with your various pies. They seem awesome, i wish that was bigger in Sweden.

Pecan pie and apple pie I love. The rest are 'meh' to me.
But wife makes/buys one of those two? I will eat enough over a few days of it I feel greedy Razz

Mac and cheese is a great example, I think we have it with some dinner at least once a week as a side. We don't do the box stuff, that stuff is 5 out 10.
But homemade baked mac and cheese, with the large macaroni noodles. Made with lots of cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and mlik..I eat that until I feed bad about myself on that.

Apple pie isnt uncommon here, my mother does it. But you have far more variations of pies. Pecan pie sounds interesting.

I did my own mac and cheese a while back, just to see if it was something i would enjoy, eh, decent but i just used the most common recepie i could find.
