I would avoid this like the plague, this can take a while.
Looks nice though. Although there is some screen tearing going on that looks to be caused by the blur of the sword, or it's poor animations. Doesn't look that good. Still early days, but for a trailer, you'd expect they sort these kind of things out before going public.
The gritty tone and moves taken straight from the good ol' Dark Messiah definitely form a sexy combo. We've had many imposters over the years..let's hope this one doesn't fail, and may the long road to 1.0 be a fruitful one.
It was always going to be clunky. Nobody was going to make an AAA game with this type of gameplay.

The Early Access tag has disappeared from the Steam page and I remember the game having one already when it was announced. It's also not mentioned in this trailer.

I was just about to put money into other stuff when for some reason i saw a video about this game and noticed the date.
As rifleman said - soon we will know if it lives up to the hype. Gonna give it a couple of days after release to make sure it does not suck before i get it

Hmm... early access is estimated to have 2h gameplay and the full version 15h of gameplay... seriously? An open world rpg with 15h gameplay? If its cheap it might be worth it, but more than €20 (for finished) will imo be way too much for an rpg with just 15h game...

Every RE game probably takes less than 10 hours to beat, they cost more and this doesn't make them any less enjoyable.
This is a game made by 13 people that supposedly has a physics based gameplay that provides avenues for creative play. The skill tree looks pretty extensive. The graphics and art style are quite good. If they deliver an above the average level of quality and polish, it's a freaking win.
Also, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic wasn't longer than this.

Yeah, the open world part was probably something i had missheard. But any rpg that short is for me way too short.
I do know about the 13 devs so i don't expect an AAA title (even though graphically it is way better than many AAA titles).
As I said, it all depends on the price.

13 devs, then the price could be like $5 and they would still make a ton of money, but of course it won't cost that.
Compare the pricing to a GTA game or UBI-soft games where 1000's of people has to be paid vs 13. This is never criticized for games though, because you are not supposed to say anything bad about small studios sure, usually you dont pay AAA prices, but maybe 20-30% less only..
Absolutely, it's not the norm at all, i am just saying small studio games could cost that, especially if you take into consideration what 13 people would cost vs 1000+.
I can see how an AAA game can cost $70, but a small studio game costing maybe 50-60, maybe not so much, it didn't cost a billion to make, not even half of that. Of course, they also might not sell AAA numbers, but some do..
