Gold is 4018 USD per Troy ounce ATM
Silver is 50.12 USD per Troy ounce ATM
Those prices are highest in 20 years.

(Troy ounce=31.10 gr. The prices were actually slightly higher 2-3 days ago for both of them. Those were the real maximums)

The prices for these metals are the highest in 20 years in Euros and GBP as well.

Is it solely Trump 'achievement' or other factors played their part?

P.S. Platinum and Palladium are not at their 20 years maximum thou.

Gold doesn't tarnish or decay, meaning it's value can last forever Razz now that's valuable.

Bitcoin can last as long as you remember and pass down your wallet password Laughing

It’s central banks dumping dollars for gold basicaly. The rest is momentum trading.
Buying gold/silver now seems very risky. The run can go on, but it’s pure gambling.

Buying a real dip is near impossible. It always seems easy afterwards though. But during a dip most people believe the word is gonna end. And when it goes up again it’s fast and unexpected.

As of January 14 2026
Silver is ~92 USD per Troy ounce
Gold is ~4,638 USD per Troy ounce

So since my first posting in Octobre 2025 Silver gained 84% in value in USD,
Gold gained 15.4 % in value in USD
Platinum and Palladium are on the rise too, especially since early December 2025

USD is in devaluation process thou by Trump's admin.

Anyway, what the actual fuck is going on with measly Silver? In the last year its value jumped 200% ( 3 times )
Platinum too has gained 200% ( 3 times ) value in USD. Thou in the middle of December 2025 it was still 100%, so it gained another 100% in the recent month.
Palladium gained around 100% ( twice ) in USD in a year.
Gold - 70%

With Jerome Powell's mandate ending in March and his replacement going to be either of the two candidates that are Trump mouthpieces, the Feds independence is at risk. If the new chairman really lowers the interest rates, in the current economy, there's going to be a massive jump in inflation in the coming months. And not just a few points, but double digits.
The stock market will soar, but the intrinsic value won't change, it's just the dollar being worth less.

While Venezuela's inflation in 2018 was 1,700,000%

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.
