In up to four player co-op, form a group of explorers searching for treasure. In this cursed jungle, danger is everywhere and monstrous creatures alter reality. Stay clear-headed and tame the jungle before it devours you…
I tried the demo. The concept is fantastic, a mix of horror, horde mode, survival and extraction games in a Chtulhu-esque setting. But this isn't ready to release in a month. A lot of the animations are clunky. The inventory management needs work. The combat needs to provide more ways to defend yourself. There's no push to talk button (wtf?!).
It will be a shame if this game releases in an unpolished state.
I just finished the game. The final mission was great.
The game is flawed but I enjoyed it. The concept is good and there's a lot of passion in it, but a small team from Chile can only do so much.
The next patch will introduce the block mechanic, which is a huge deal. But the game can be played without it.
I like that there are so many hidden mechanics that you need to learn (torches burn roots and stop monsters from respawning, you have to hit the legs of armored zombies, blue mushrooms help you to regain sanity, etc). It's a continuous learning experience which makes the gameplay pretty engaging.
I would like to see more maps that explore the cosmic horrors.
I think the game's biggest problem is the production value which greatly limits the narrative. It's pretty obvious that the developers would have liked to explore more than visual storytelling, but there isn't that much there.
