Carmageddon smashes back with brutal roguelite vehicular‑combat mayhem. Adapt, upgrade, and unleash destruction on post‑apocalyptic zombie hordes. The legacy lives on, reinvented and unforgiving.
Release Date:To be announced
Developer: 34BigThings srl
Roguelite with zombie hordes and mounted weapons - practically a game that has very little in common with Carmageddon but we gotta use that dormant licence somehow(tm)
On a side note, the flawed but faithful 2016 game recently received a big community overhaul that adds some goodies and makes the handling more like the original Carma (for those who didn't like the default physics): https://www.cwaboard.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=14433

You can't release a game like the original in 2025 where you can kill pedestrians for points off course. I kinda miss those days were there outside world didn't are about video games.
They should add a dorky video driver portret in the left corner rendering in 5 FPS though. Then it's Carmageddon

Wow, that's a dark game and I'm surprised Steam let it through.
As for Carmageddon.. meh. It was very fun back in the day, esp. the first game since it gave you a great sense of freedom. I don't see the need for it today.

God damn, you make it sound like we're living in China.... wait, we are, arent we?
I think Midtown Madness was the first open world I remember where people would jump away from the cars instead of get squished. I think it came a year or so after Carmageddon and was very odd.
Wasn’t mowing down pedestrians controversial and they replaced humans and red blood with zombies and green blood?
That was in the UK and a few other countries to avoid the banhammer, with Germany taking the extra-derpy route as always and going with robots instead. Italy had the uncensored version, thankfully.
You also had the gimped Prince of Persia Warrior Within, where it wasn't possible to decapitate or dismember sand enemies And for some reason, the first cracked version was the EU version
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
