From the "now" developers of Tropico, Limbic Entertainment, we get a Tropico 2 meets Anno pirate cove builder, complete with turn based battles. Gave the demo a shot - looks great, runs great, had fun. Looking forward to this one when it drops in 2 months time (hopefully not delayed).

Well this was disappointing. Didn't play that much admittedly, but the tutorial was already buggy enough to make me uninstall.
What's nice is the verticality of the buildings you can place, but it also became clear quickly that it's going to get very confusing fast. Buildings are rather big and look alike, and there are lots and lots of production lines it seems.
Lots of micromanaging too; need to manually connect the tavern to the beer resource, etc. I'd rather have the beer go to a warehouse, and let this distribute the goods.
The rotating shadows was extremely off-putting as well Can't imagine this was a design choice, rather than a lack of skill of the devs.
