Is it possible to try that game free?
Something like 1 week free trial or something?
I hate you.

Ultima Online will always have a special place for me, it was the highest moment in mmo gaming ever. This is back in the glory days, pretty much RIGHT BEFORE they added Trammel.
Other than that I haven't really gotten into anything else.. sad really
Just put my WoW account on hold like last week, and I haven't logged into Guild Wars in awhile.
Oh yah, and EQ2 and DAoC I gave those two a shot and quit within a few weeks, what trash.

I have played a handful of mmo's. My personal favorite was NeoCron.
It's a first person cyber punkish mmo.

EQ1, and after I left, played pretty much everything out there and they all fall by the wayside(MMORPG's). I think all the rest, GW, WoW, EQ2, Lineage 2, etc etc etc suck and are just very boring and repetetive.

Tried EVE And Star Wars Galaxies, neither managed to get me hooked.
Perhaps LOTR or Star Trek online when they are eventually released in a few years...

Most fun I had with any MMORPG was Planetside.
But like always SOE ruined that game, listening to teens who wanted bigger über robots.
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

uo, daoc, eve-online, shadowbane, lineage2, ac2, ryl, and currently playing wow.
The one I had the most fun in was uo because it was my first mmorpg and it was a new experience. It didn't have leveling and actually took skill to pvp.
I also really liked shadowbane for its pvp and politics. But it was too buggy and it was going no where.
Wow is okay but it's getting boring. I cancelled my account but I still have a few days left.
Worst one was AC2.

Man I come a LONG way back. First it was with various MUD games (text based online rpg's) then I went to UO. Tried EverQuest but it never hooked on me. Then went to DAoC and just last year retired my lvl 50 chars and now I'm playing EverQuest 2 =]
My fav so far would have to be as follows:
1. UO
2. DAoC
3. EverQuest 2
4. Eve Online
5. World of Warcraft
I wish WoW had more quests and lore and history around its world.

WOW is by far the best looking and best thought-through mmorpg. In all aspects except PVP-balance.
If you like killing monsters in a nice enviroment and having a very adaptable user-interface then WOW is the way to go.
If you like PVP (and if you dont, then you're a pussy ) however then UO is really nice.
But my all time favourite is without question DAOC, cause you just dont get the immense hate vs other realms (ie countries) including its population as you get in DAOC. Also DAOC is the best balanced game on the market to date in my biased opinion.

For me WoW.
Afew reasons for me.
-Its basic and fun
And although basic, it still has alot of elements that are quite good.
General PVP, new dugeons always coming in, Battlegrounds soon, a shit load of quests, the instances are fun (well most of them).
Another reason for me is that its very casual. You dont have to spend ages on it just to get to the good parts of the game. Even when your as low as lvl30 there are still enjoyable aspects of the game.
The best reason for me is that i hate in-deepth quests. WoW doesn't have many quests that go on forever and ever.
Now call me brainess, i dont care what anyone thinks.
Id rather worry about real things in this world in deepth, over indeepth quests in a game.
Each to their own i guess.
AMD64 3800+, Leadtek 6800 Ultra, 1GB Kingston HyperX RAM, SB Audigy 2Zs.
