......after today will be through my solicitor. I've had my PC which I've paid over £2k for five weeks and still it's not working. The reason, first lot of memory they sent me was faulty, the second lot wasn't compatible. Now I've waited three weeks for them to refund my account the cash for the memory and still it hasn't been forthcoming. I'm not willing to spend a single penny with them until the cash is refunded. In a sentence...........NEVER buy from www.overclockers.co.uk, They're hopeless.

Premium rate?
The prices were about average. Besides, I can afford it.

Your new machine is still not working Jenni. Can't you order the memory somewhere else?

Well still no refund after five phone calls. Time to get in touch with trading standards I think.
I would advise anyone not to touch www.overclockers.co.uk with a bargepole.

I left the phone ringing. If you leave it long enough you'll get through.
They've got one more chance to refund my cash then I will get trading standards to build a case up for me prior to court proceedings. I will be claiming for the memory and the loss I've suffered due to the other parts depreciating.
The CPU is £50 cheaper now since I bought it.

Well I've rang them up six times and still no refund. I'm taking a day off tommorow to start legal proceedings.
I shall ask for:
A: The cash I've lost in depreciation from the components I've not been abled to use.
B: Money refunded from the memory it's self.
C: The cash from all the calls I've had to place.
D: Cash for the inconvienience and time I've had to take off from work.
I'll also press for the court costs to be added to them.
Some of the reviews I've read about overclockers are shocking. I know I'm not the only one to take them to court. All this time wasted because of terrible customer service.

Funny that in the nforce hardware sellers list it says
Quote: | Overclockers.co.uk - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/ - Good service, good reputation, very big sortiment including high quality parts, good for the overclocker and the modder |
A change maybe?

dont go to court, citizens advice would be a much cheaper and effective way. if you go to them they'll lay it down on the line and will fight the case for you for free. if they get involved i think it would be in OC's interest to just pay off the "small change" of £160 rather than have a tarnished rep and them on their backs.

BUT E-BUYER ARE A BUNCH OF CUNTS!
I've ordered from a whole lot of online stores and I have NEVER had as bad a service as I had with them. I ordered over £200 of gear and only 1 thing showed up, which was worth £20. When I tried to call them I could never get put through to anyone, I would be 40th in a que, when I hit about 3 id get cut off and have to start the process again, more so the customer service line is a high cost phone number! When I eventually did get through they told me I was wrong so I got the devliery company to back me up (I had already checked what they received).. needless to say it was all solved when I e-mailed them from my company address.. they paid up pretty quick and appologised LOTS. Bastards. I now have a sticker on my moniter stating "E-Buyer are cunts".. and that is the way it will remain.

I'm all about the aria.. you pay a little extra for amazing service!

LOL!!
You think I'm in the minority?

Have you ever had to RMA anything off them?
OC'ers are a waste of time. I know of at least three people who've had to take them to court.
