hi i dl the hoodlum version of GTA SA its 3.91gb, i started to unzip my fiels using winrar and when it reaches 99% or 100 and starts to unzip th last file whichi is hlm-gtsa.r83 an error msg comes up like CRC error..what do i do? download the game again or is there any other way to fix this

redownload that file or do an .sfv check

thx skidrow but i am a newbie, how do i redownload that 1 file, and how to do an sfv check , thx this is the exact error msg that comes up "Winrar Diagnostic MEssage" CRC failed in hlm-gta.iso. The File is Corrupt and it looks like its the very last file..how do i redownload it?

download this: http://download.flashfxp.com/zip/freeware/flashsfv2.0f.zip press open sfv. browse to the dir where the .rar files are. select the *.sfv file and press verify. Then you can see which .rar files are corrupted and needs to be redownloaded. Where to redownload is your problem, because requesting isn't allowed.

tip.. if you downloaded by torrent.... delete the corrupted rars only and reopen the the torrent I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

okay i fixed the CRC problem i downloaded the newest version of winrar (Ver 3.5,betta) now its unzipping so will see what happens, thx for ur help skidrow

no, leave the corrupt rar in and BT will repair it for you

sometimes the HD are errors and the download is right but the error in the Hd corrupt the data, pass a Scandisk in you Pc too.
