I saw some screen shot for this game and it looks great, but is it a point and click or do you get to walk around

You walk around with a dude by point & click, it's not a myst game.
I just tried the demo and it was quite nice. I normally dont like adventure games with a real-life touch, but this hooked me for some reason.
One good thing is that some objects in the game cant be used untill it's time to use them, this removes the frustrating "try every item on everything" problem that most adventure games have.
I will for sure grab this one.

Yeah, its worth a try. Just played the demo, can somebody help how to get the object from the locker in the camp.

Another than that, it rocks, its been too long. Point'n click's rock. AND, i read that there are some nazi's involved with the story. : D

Oh, cool. maybe the phone didn't ring? It has to ring before trying it.

No clue why there isn't a character on those screens Cryothic. Those screens almost made me not to give this a try since I hate myst like games, luckely there was a demo so I tried that and it turned out to be a standard point & click game. Smile

no Protection?
The german version that came out some months ago had some fucking annoying protection - well only the part of the demo was actually playable (I think they used the demo executable as crack), then the game crashed. I hope they didnt have any similar (or even trickier) one with the english version.
Talking of which - the english version is way better than the german one cause its uncut - german ver. (as always) is missing the swastikas and a puzzle related to the signs.

I don't know about you guys, but on my rig, the game seems very slow, Fraps showing me 24 fps. There is no resolution change button in the options and the game starts only in 60 Hz. Is anyone having the same problems? My system is a P4 2600 Mhz, 1 GB RAM, Audigy 2 ZS an Geforce 6800GT.

Pro's
- Brilliant graphics , love the stuff that comes from the developer
of black mirror typical moody horror style Adventure
- Great sound really puts you in the mood
- Voices are top notch, no annoying voices as of yet
- Easy pick up and play adventure atleast so far things make
sense with what objects do what.
- Easy fast save system, no ages to load here.
- Nice storyline thus far!
- Smooth frame rates as it should be for an adventure and the guy walks well, some adventures have shitty animes.

Cons
- Fustrating search every possible object some things are abit
damn small to be found
- Could do with more help than just, i cant leave now.. i mean
why cant he leave? surelly i have everything oh maybe not
i need that handbag hidden amongst the other objects that im sure i scrolled over earlier.
- Still not fast enough for walking for my liking, he walks abit damn slow and the only way to speed him up is by double clicking on a door or exit point u can make him run on the same
scene only if leaving one.

=========
=========

I cant play any further... ive hit a gamestopper bug.

At the docks, near the hotel if i speak to the guy twice
the game just freezes up with the guy moving his mouth
but not saying anything nor any subtitles appearing Sad

FnF , have you used the oil on the circles? have you turned the circles to make it
it look like the nazi symbol? have you used the Metal prong thing on the collapsed mine area
to get the key?

Anyway!

nooooooooo

Shit puzzle alert! , in the temple i have to move these circles
so red is all at the top green right white bottom and yellow left
its FUCKING fustrating. I hate it when developers do this its
just a stall and its not fun!
