Hi guyz
Just wanted to know if there are any games like the good old twisted metal 2. sony never rolled out a version for PC after that, but thats a game i have my love for...... Best ever action Car game
any play alikes for that

Carmageddon series can be compared when it comes to twisted violence and car destruction. Its not that weapon based like twisted metal, its more about crashing (though weapon power ups exist), but in that its unbeatable.
Best of the series is imho carmageddon 2, its a bit comic in graphics, but from a technical aspekt it uses incredible technology, even up to today I can't think of another game which has such good real-time car deformation routines as carmageddon 2. And in fact, carmageddon 2 was the first game ever to use ragdoll effects, in 1998 (!), maybe 3 years before hitman 1 used them. The game has very well working physics engine, which allows a very high interaction with environment as well.
so technically speaking carma 2 was ahead of its time, not visually outstanding, but with amazing engine features in terms of physics and interaction. Still unbeatend until today i'd even say 
The games all about driving over poor pedestrians and most of all destroying your opponent with sick power ups and violent crashs. You've got huge free roaming levels with tons of secret places. I've played pretty much every car combat game out there (including twisted metal series and interstate 76 and 82) but none of them came even close to the game experience carmageddon 2 gave you.
Get Carmageddon 2. Carma 3 was a disappointment, its not better, in fact even worse when it comes to physics etc.

yes flatout was released months ago !!!
mobile forces was very cool in the good old time !!!
