Your in the wrong place, this is NOT a scene release, nforce carrie's nfo from scene groups ONLY

There will never be a scene realese of that game simply just because that game is cancel . I just have to say congratulation to the guy who release that Gold version of that game ( Game was finish but never got released because of the Acklaim bankrupt and that game didn't had the chance has juiced to have been taken by another develloper . The game is really not bad at all it is pretty fun . So i think it is good that this guy announce that release but probably not in the good place on the forum . |
There was a scene release of "Red Star" Hence why he said they "stole" his work
Check nforce, red star xbox released a few months ago
Doesn't really matter if Acklaim got bankrupt or not, he still has to manage to make his release reg'd at pre site if he wishes to carry out scene releases. If not, he can expect more groups to "steal" his projects/releases.

Not really, since no group will give a fuck, and neither will people who know's 1 or 2 things about how the system works, I'll bet 99% of my income, your a member of the bittorent (p2p) site torrent-lab
It will never be a "Scene" release when a p2p group releases trough their site, unless they reg themself. This isn't or won't be the last time some p2p user complain a group "stole" his release.
Go ahead and flame me if you want, but this is how thing's work in the system, like it or not...
EDIT: This is not the first time groups, releases gold/final builds....
EDIT: There's a reason why the scene go trough: Pre sites/FTP Newsgroups and at the bottom p2p...

I really don't see your point. He has the full right to complain when a group steals his release for their scene release without at least giving credit to him. There's nothing wrong with that. He would be stupid if he wouldn't complain about it. It's not that hard to write in the nfo Supplier: SuPeR (thx!) or something like that.
But of course there's always the chance that a group got the game just like he got it somehow. Maybe he should mark his release somehow to rule that out...

The prob here you talk about an Xbox release , this is a PS2 release wich never got a scene release and doubt there will be ever one .
