so iam a little confused now becausse of the new hardware stuff
pcix, ddr 2 and the new sockets !

so now i need help............


iam not sure building a new pc or not, so what would you do?


my system specs are in my signatur.....

Almost exactly the same setup im using right now, and my suggestion is no! Why bother? Your machine can handle anything (I know this because mine can too... bar Battlefield 2 but I know thats a programing issue Razz) right now.. Plus the cost of Dual Core, PCI-X, DDR2 is insane right now, due to it being new to the market! Give it a few months, look back around christmas and you will have much cheaper (and somewhat affordable) prices for parts, then your looking at a good time to buy, plus you will see the games which need it by then too (maybe Razz)..

i dont think therte will games that need sli or pcix in the next 2 years i mean ther isn a game which need agp8 ..........

thinking about buying another gig ram for my pc.............. Confused

agp4 and agp8 are not much of a difference. It's just a marketingstrick Smile.


btw, if your mobo supports dual channel and you are currently running it, leave it like that.

Because 1,5 gb is slower then 1gb in dual channel mode.
