since i last started my machine i've had problems that it just locks,completely hangs up.. I hear something that sounds like the power supply but im not sure. Then all of a sudden my s-ata drives vanished And when i start windows the bar that loads is grey for like 1 min before it starts to load windows. anyone know what the problem might be ?

A weak or malfunctioning PSU may be the cause of unexplainable crashes. What type of components and PSU have you got?

i have thermaltake psu dont know how big abit 3d eye something mainboard amd64 3500+ twinmos 1024 ram sapphire radeon 9800pro sound blaster audigy 2
