Cell phones and driving cars? Do they mix?
Lately all dumb-ass drivers are talking on a cell phone.
Does this bother anyone else?

the problem is not enforcing it, but proving it.. i need a camera in the car to take to court and show them... if not they can say we mistakenly thought they were talking on the cell phone. or some shit and fight it and lawyers eat that shit up.

Obviously cars and cell phones do not mix. The driver should focus on the road. People should deactivate their phones when driving. In Holland we've got these delightful flitspalen for fining speeding cars. I say modify them so they can also scan cars for active phones (many libraries are already using modified anti-theft gates to scan for phones). After all, society has evolved just fine until 1995 without being able to talk smack at 120kph.

i talk on the phone all the time in the car but i have it on speakerphone and clipped to the visor above my head so I never take my eyes off the road. It's still probably not safe but oh well.

Has anyone seen Christian Klein writing an sms while in the F1 cockpit at the US GP?
