Well , I have NEVER own the single gaming console , however , I play computer games from C 64 , but I am considering to buy XBOX these days , and only one thing confuse me here.
Can I simply connect XBOX & PC by LAN ports , (using crossover cabel I guess) , copy XBOX games & DIVX from PC HDD to XBOX HDD and play it?
Another question , is it true that XBOX CAN NOT read DVD+R media? I have old DVD + only dvd burner? Or it MUST BE DVD -R ?
Thnx in advance!

1a) yes once modded
1b) yes, but you will need to upgrade the hard drive to get decent amount on, the xbox hd only has @4gig free space
2) i always use dvd+ on mine they work perfectly, i have a newish 1.6 model xbox... though there are different dvd drives on models i beleive all new ones are fine with dvd+. There is a restriction strangely though with cd-r's, only a few xbox's will read them, but again strangely cd-rw's are fine
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

My Xbox read DVD+/-R and DVDRW fine. I have a Phillip. I think all drive read it but it also depend on your DVD Burner. I have two DVD burners, one burn backup but it won't run (Lite-on DVDRW SOHW-832s, after I update firmware) and a NU DVDRW that burn backup and play on my Xbox, it's just wierd.
If you hate it, ignore it.
