Anyone any ideas. I have a Siemens MC60 right now, which is just plain crap. It's got to be good quality photographs.

I have the motorola v710. It has a 1.2 mega pixel cam that is awesome for outdoor shots but sucks for night or indoor ones. It also has does video...

Well its up to you really if you're just gettin 1 for the camera. some phones have high res cameras but the videos are compromised. you're best looking on sites like nokia.com where you can compre two directly side by side Smile

Thats what im getting next week, I've been looking around and if you want a camera based phone this is what you want. Depends on what you want it for really.

e.g. I was considering a phone running symbian so I could write my own apps for it, but then decided i had a PDA for that kind of thing..

maybe you wanna wait for spv c550 - just gonna come out in uk next month or so. only 1.3megapixel but should be pretty good quality. nokia 6680 is also good

or if you wanna wait a bit until samsung bring out their 7 megapixel cameraphone Wink

If you want to take good pictures get a good Digital Camera such as whirlwind did. I guess you love those high pixeled crap camera phones spew out

I can agree on that , Had an spv e200 and the camera was immense on it . Probably the best I've had quality wise, even the videos where great . Shame the phone was a bit bland

Jenni, I have to agree with gutyreader. Hes got the best solution.
You said you want good quality pictures. The only way to do that
is to get a seperate digital camera.
As nice, and as convinient those cameraphones are, you will not got
expeptional quality from them yet. Get a cheaper phone and invest $300
into a S serias Cannon. If you want to go higher get A95 Cannon.
Did i mention you should get a Cannon? Smile

Any of the new line of series 60 from nokia.

You get a great smartphone with lots of options for expanding its features, plus a decent camera.

I think a camera in a phone si really usefull, since, how often do you take your camera with you? I mean, i take it... when i know im going to photo something. But the phone is always with me, and i use it to capture things that were not planned, like the train schedule, or some cool rims on a lada etc.

I have the Nokia 6680. Its a real nice phone but not available on as pay as you go service. Its great for pictures but the movie playback is disappointing :/

Just wanted to show you lot how good the Sony Ericson K750i's camera is as I got mine yesturday. This is a Macro shot of my laptop on full everything, I think you will agree that although it is not as good as a digi cam, if you only want it for fun shots of life this is MORE than good enough Smile! Ill take a none macroshot later on today Smile!

Here is a far away picture of my office, as you can see the "macro" option produces far better quality pictures but I feel this is perfectly acceptable image quality for people who simply want "quick snaps"..



considering I got the phone free, I think it will do wonderfully as a camera Smile! Ill play around later and see if I can get better quality shots Smile!

IR, Bluetooth, USB link cable. All as standard! Or you can e-mail them should you have a compatible account (gmail works Razz) but obviously that will cost mulla for the upload!

Personally I use IR as bluetooth on this laptop is an arse to use, I dont want to carry a USB cable around with me and IR is fast/easy enough to use Smile!

Oh I almost forgot, the phone has memory stick duo which is its default storage medium so you could also use a card reader. Mine came with a 64mb as standard Smile!

WOW [sYn]. Those pics are really impressive for a phone. ~$375.00 is not that bad, for a top of the line 2.0 megapixel cameraphone. Nice to see
those things becoming more than toys for taking icon sized shots.
