Once we were secure from the evil giants
Once we were safe from the gigantic birds
Once we were stowed away from any danger
Once when danger came near we'd be protected by the angels in the sky
And now were not.
Now we’re defenceless.
Now people flame, people fight and people argue over little things.
We have a guy who argues because his opinions differ than the others.
We have a guy who acts tough on the internet and never stops just goes on and on about how he is this tough guy.
We have children running around with scissors unaware of the dangers they might cause.
We have cans of spam that are never opened because the moment a spam thread is about to wield that can-opener the thread quickly turns off-topic.
And I ask you.
All of you.
Each and every one of you.
How important is your pride to defend it on the internet?
Sure saying you have a small dick might ruin your chances with any girl who might visit this forum.
But is it really that important to stand your ground? Is it really important to act like a jerk just to prove to others you're right and they’re wrong?
Arguments are best fought face to face; you rely on your own wit. On the internet you have to wait for a reply which makes the argument pointless not to mention you never manage to see the pain you cause.
So why do we have to argue on the internet? Why not love each other? Why not love one another? This is a community and it should be treated as such. Doesn't matter where you're from, what country you're from, which god you believe in, you still lead your life by the golden rule and it's taught in every country, in every nation, in every religion and in every language.
It is the golden rule.
It is how life should be treated.
If someone pulls out a knife on you, you do not pull out a gun.
If someone pulls out a shotgun you do not pull out a semi-automatic.
You treat them with respect. You try to use words to persuade them that it is not how simple disputes should be dealt with.
Do we really throw away all of our ideologies and values every time we log into this forum? What is the point of logging into your account when you’re going to waste the next fifteen minutes arguing over petty things?
Is this how you want people to remember you? Is this how you want to be treated?
Do we argue just because we want to be insulted? If we want respect, we should show respect. Right?
I’ll say this once and I’ll mention the names of these members. (If they’re offended then fine let it be)
Accelleron; you really have to accept the opinions of others no matter how insignificant or how foolish they are.
Crob and any other pro American on this forum; you really have to realize that America isn’t the best country in the world. If you love it, that’s fine, but not everyone has to have the same opinion about your country as you do.
D_A_Kuja; you really got on my nerves quite a lot, but that’s in the past now. Only thing I can tell you is that you should calm down, not everyone wants to intentionally hurt your feelings, and not everyone wants to piss you off, so you shouldn’t treat everyone as trash because their view on life is different from yours. They did not go through the horrors you went through and they did not live the life you lived, but they did go through some things they might consider far worse and if you can’t accept their opinions and their thoughts then you just shouldn’t talk to them.
Take a deep breath and look away. Your pride holds more merit in real life than on the internet. It’s easier to reply with hatred, but life was never meant to be easy. Ignorance is bliss.
That goes to all of you. If you don’t like what you’re reading don’t reply with an insult. Either properly comment on it or just ignore it.
We, all, want a clean forum.
We, all, don’t want bull-shit.
So keep it clean and you’ll have a lot of fun surfing this board. Heck, you might even have a decent laugh once in a while, without even going into the jokes section.

Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

People who follow the rules live in harmony.
Those who do not are called rebels.
Rebels break the rules. Rebels get arrested, shot, murdered and slaughtered or in these forums they might just get banned.
If everyone continues insulting one another then this forum wouldn't be an enjoyable place to hang out in the cyberspace and would eventually close down.
If you want it to end then continue acting like jerks. If you don’t then you should change your hateful ways and start respecting one another.
Everybody's gotta learn sometime, better sooner than later.

If a comment gets on your nerves let the one, who posted it, know.
Let him know that he shouldn’t talk down to you.
Let him know that she shouldn’t treat you like that.
Let him know that such behaviour should only occur in a playground.
But you shouldn’t do it with angry words, no; you should do it as you would want it said towards you.
Kindly, gently and sophistically.
Everything is a lot more enjoyable when things are smiling back at you and not flipping you the finger.
Griffon, I’m not trying to change the forums. I just want people to have a better outlook on things. I don’t want to enter every created thread and look for the actual discussion about a game, movie, news-report or joke.
You see; insults, arguments, flames, spam and off-topic discussions run rampant on these forums and I want people to know the impact these little-devils have on this forum.
It’s just not fun anymore and it’s simply impossible to carry on the simplest of discussions.

In retrospect, you live to be happy and being treated like a jerk makes you happy. Right?
If being treated as trash makes you truly happy then by all means do what you must to maintain the reputation of garbage.
But, if you want people to respect you and your opinions then you should respect their views as well. No matter how bizarre or idiotic they might be.
Don’t you want people to always have a good impression of you?
Don’t you want people to respect you especially if it is a place like this?
You don’t just come here to spill bull-shit, do you?

You come here to discuss the latest video games, movies, songs and news articles.
You come here to converse with other people from around the globe.
And conversations go a lot smoothly when they progress.
When an insult occurs the progress is halted and sooner or later the conversation seizes to exist taking the entire enjoyment along with it.
I’m sure not everyone comes here with the intent of arguing over petty things or explaining why one person is right while the other is wrong.
After all this is a discussion board and by all means we should discuss, but do we really have to argue over little thing? Do we really have to treat one another as an asshole or a jerk when our opinions differ? Where’s the point in that?

It has nothing to do about feeling better...
I do it, because I want to see why he think/say what he says/think that way. I've seen plenty of people on this forum who has put up Stereotypes on Jews, Americans, Christanity etc. And if they just say that out in the air without any explanation, then it can go on my nerve since the particualer user probably isnt American, Christian or a Jew.

When I am out at town for instance, and I see a guy beating a dog with it's leash, I confront him and tell him he's acting like a fucking idiot. I do this because of two reasons:
a) I think the dog deserves better.
b) I think the man needs to hear it.
c) I feel better when I do it. (Not really a reason, a causal effect)
I hope it's a step towards 'teaching' the man something - I know he probably won't care, but maybe if a few more people expressed their opinions as they are, there wouldn't be so God damned much frustration in this world?
You see, when I see someone behaving like an idiot, I feel something - and putting a lid on my emotions won't help it, I'll just feel frustrated, best let the smoke out at once.
