A while back, there was some conversation about a site that sells legitimate game CD-keys for very low prices. This was done, as was discussed, by purchasing game keys in large quantities in countries where they would be sold to cheaper than "normal" distribution methods.

I was wondering if this concept applied to MMORPG's. For example, I play World of Warcraft on a regular basis, but find both the $15/month subscription and the game card options to be too much for my tastes...

Instead, I was wondering if it was possible to find a site that sold keys to the game cards for reduced prices ($20 for a 60-day card or less.) Anyone know if that exists/is possible?

Can't say it definitely doesn't exist but I wouldn't be optimistic. These cards tend to be a fixed cost wherever they come from. Not to mention that WoW is localised so there's a fair chance that the cards are localised, for example EU cards won't work in North America or China.

EU cards (or game keys for that matter) do in fact not work with the US version of the game (and vice versa).

There is such a site but they are not cheap, in fact, for new games it's even more expensive.

The same day WWII online became a MMO. WWII Online is considered a massively multiplayer game, yet, they limit the areas to 64 people only - if there are more people than 64 in the area, they are invisible (but can still kill you). It's gay.

Hehe, that was cool Smile It was such a subtle but zesty flame. Ah well. (really though, if more people actually understood what they read, there'd be alot less hostility)

And no, BF2 is not an MMO. WW2 is a persistent world where battlefronts constantly change with time. BF2 is simply a squad based FPS with online tracking system. Much like SOCOM 2. The only difference is amount of players.

in any case, this is entirely off topic, and I apoligise. Really, the only way you'll get cheaper susbscription fees is paying for months inadvance. Much like buying magazine subscriptions.
