Well guys as reported here:

www.ps2nfo.com

The soon to be released PSP UMD iSO Launch utility!

To use it, simply put your PSP iSO in the MS root (no file extraction is required at all) and then rename it xxx-umdgame.iso. The UMD iSO Launcher is loaded via exploit (as is done with emulators/homebrew) and press X to launch the game! That's it! No ripping, modifying game files, or any other LAME "Xecuter-type" garbage... and the best part is it works with ALL current PSP games! More to come on it very soon, and be sure to drop by iRC EFnet #PS2Ownz for all up-to-the-minute NEWS on the UMD iSO Launcher!

Can't wait to get into it Smile

Dude... you need to learn reading

They are talking about the "universal ISO launcher" and not about the different launchers for every game where you need to extract the data to the MS.

It's the tradition of NFOrce to tear posts like this one apart. fuck tradition.

You need an ISO, a memory card large enough to store it, the launcher, and Damn. Where to get each of these things and how to use them is up to you. Hope that clarifies things.

You need a memory stick to store the games. This means you dont need to always be connected to your computer and the proccess for storing should be in the "readme" of the loader.

You connect your PSP to your computer using a USB cable, mini one side full the other Smile! You can buy them from any decent computer shop or online (not sure whats the correct labeling is for the cable, I always call it mini USB to USB).

You need to get a memory stick as stated above. The correct type is a "MEMORY STICK DUO" these are made by both sony and sandisk. Sandisks are much cheaper and go upto 2gb, I belive sony has released a 4gb stick. They also come in different speeds, not sure how much this will effect gameplay, I would think getting the faster more expensive stick would be better for loading ISO files!

Sandisk have a "gaming" range, this should do the trick Smile!

Please read my above post. It isn't out yet, but when it will be, those will be the only things you will need. "Where to get each of these things and how to use them is up to you." Please remove the link, the information is easily found via google, and I would rather not see another ban.

p.s. 800mb = 0.8gb. There are cards available with 1 GB of storage. For now, those are sufficient as well as the most available. The capacity of the UMD disk the PSP uses is much more than that, though, so I am not sure if this will be enough for future games.

Im guessing most PSP games will be under 1GB... The PS2 can read games on DVD9 disc, but most PS2 games are just 1 - 4GB.

Thats perfect, its a pro meaning its "high speed" and its a duo Smile! You wont need the Sony MS adapter for your PSP though, you might want to see if you can get it cheaper without the adapter?

correct card, but the adapter's useless.. try to find one without the adapter or negotiate a cheaper price with the seller w/o it.
