Well, the game is crashing all the time, and I can't play it normally.

I have AMD Athlon XP 3000MHZ
512 RAM
ATI RADEON 9550 256MB

What can I do?

Are you playing the hoodlum version? With the no dvd.exe included? Or are you playing some kind of patched version where you had to Copy main.scm into the games folder perhaps? Just thinking with you.... I had the same problem but now all is fine after I used the no dvd.exe from gamecopyworld and downloaded the latest video drivers. Also the ac 97 on board soundcard can make it difficult for you so I was told. If non of the above is the case don't shoot me!

I had that too yesterday and after testing with memtest I noticed some corrupt memory.
Then I changed my memory settings in the bios from 2.5T to 3T and the memory errors were gone. No crashes anymore either.

Maybe it helps

Played with no problems so far, but now I get a crash.

Just before the animation for the mission Farewell my love or smth(the one after I met with that chinese guy) the game crashes to desktop without any error messages. I tried updating drivers and uninstalling my codec packs, nothing helps. Also tried to skip the animation, no luck. Any ideas ?

could be a audio/sound problem, check audio/sound device properties and lower acceleration to normal. sometimes the crash is because a conflict involving sound, memory and CPU performance. is a long shot but i might work or at least make the game smother.
