Hello, I tried running sfc /scannow on my main system the otherday and when it ask for the sp2 xp cd I put in the exact cd I used to install xp but it keeps saying it needs the sp2 xp cd. I tried dumping the I386 folder to C:, then making the target change in the registry to look in that folder for the files sfc needs, but still nada. Any suggestions appreciated. Thx.

if i am correct, sp2 is also in the windows dir.

C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386

try that

Made changes, rebooted and still asking for cd.
