Originality sales only to a fine audience
And that is a minority
It's all about money.

I don't mind remakes as long as they're introducing new technology to an old format. I think War of the Worlds is a good example.

War of the worlds is an adaptation -speilburg-. Not a remake.
I got a pocket full of pins! I'm about to burst a lot of bubbles!

What the fuck happend to originality?
And u wonder why no one wants to go watch ur movies.
Ah.. fuck KING KONG is comming out soon. |
Dear Regged:
We are sorry you are not interested in our remakes.
Originality is a product of creativity and need of the staff working on the film.
While the directors and actors always sucked, there has recently been a disturbing trend of script writers getting laid. This has resulted in a constant stream of copies of old scripts being submitted by trained monkeys on behalf of the writers.
Thankfully, the average idiot consumer does not notice the difference, so remakes of old movies bring us more money without such expenses as the re-design of posters.
Once again, we are sorry you are not dumb enough to like our movies.
Sincerely,
The greedy bastards at the MPAA.

remakes do suck. Only for making [quick] money.
Same counts for music.
Almost every songs [and in particular dance songs] are just covers from great musicsongs that are comming from the 60-90's.
Talking about losing originallity.
PISSES ME OFF.

JSA is in the works, set at the US/Mexico border. Yeah... I know. Fucking retarded ...

I like remakes as long as they are good... Ocean's Eleven, Dawn Of the Dead...
About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.
Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

It's got some crap to do with immigration. I fail to understand how this will be adapted.

exactly, its hardly a war between them that has caused millions of people to die and seperated the whole world. Still I love asian films much more than hollywood ones. The action flicks are smarter, the casts are 'cooler'. They have very little limits and dont need to be politically correct etc. Usually producers / directors etc. just make the film how they want it to be made instead of targeting a whole section of the business they just go for people who like what they like. Admittedly some films styles are worse but that's only because of cultural differences to mine i.e. a japanese comedy isnt as good as an english one to me.

i've seen in a few films "sony" or whatever have been used for the hacking equipment or whatever. Also Mobile phones are becoming increasingly noticeable with logos etc. being used throuhout. Saying that though i know what u mean
