I purchased a working serial of Battlefield 2, so I installed BF2 Reloaded and used the serial.

Everything works fine, played the game a couple hours now..great game but my problem is, EA now decides to release a patch - version 1.1.

I installed the patch, and just as i thought, the Reloaded crack will not work. When I launch the game, my resolution changes to 800x600 (thats normal without the patch), and then few seconds later the game closes and I am back on my desktop.

Does anyone have any advice on getting the 1.1 patch to work with reloaded, or if there are any new releases?

Also, has anyone found a site that perhaps has a 1.1 no-cd crack that I can use, I googled it but did not find much results.

Thanks

Nevermine..I fixed it from Battlefield thread in PC Arena.

If anyone is searching to find the fix, here is it:

------------------
this worked for me:

uninstall game, keep profile etc..

reinstall game, do not apply crack (reboot here i think)

install patch 1.01

download mini image NUMBER 2 from gamecopyworld

mount using latest daemon tools

play

hope that works for you

All I did is apply the patch, download the crack+mini image from gamecopyworld and everything works fine.

Yes, but they called back the patch because it was even less stable.
Any way to un-patch?

I don't think so, the official message was to uninstall the game and then reinstall.
