About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

Schindler's List was more a biography than an adaptation........

Try horrible. Let's make another movie where we take no chances at all and specifically go out of our way not to even remotely insult anyone. Ron Howard is a joke and is the worst director to win an Academy Award since.... well, EVER.

Yea, okie Smile
Ron Howard is one of the best directors out there... Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man, Apollo 13 etc... but of course, we all know that you can direct a lot better then the joke Howard!

Yes because I claimed I am a director.... Listen. I can have my own opinion and not have to be in the film industry. The fact is though, Ron Howard movies have nothing remotely involving anything that might create controversy. All he does is pour out sappy stories that have no real value as film other than make you say....aww I feel bad for that guy. There were interesting things he could've explored in all three of those films but he decided to go for the cliched horsecrap.

Yes I should look to you for the definition of stupid. Instead of claiming its dumb why don't you bring forth a point that might argue my statement.

Quote:

Well if you want my opinion then fine...

Spielberg - Decent but nowhere near where so many people hold him.
Eastwood - Learned from the best and has applied it. Not always great but atleast has a style.
Ridley - A technical master who with the right material can easily make a masterpiece.

David Lynch.

How about not just presenting the material just as it is. Look ma its a crazy genius................ that's it. You watch the movie and just have a bland taste in your mouth. Certainly the execution isn't bad but it isn't spectacular either. Howard could've focused on his schizophrenia a lot more and not paint Nash into this demi-God. He could've focused on his mathematics and actually go into more depth on why he was such an important person. All the movie managed to get across is that schizophrenia is bad to have (a rather dumb point to want to get the audience to understand). This movie would've worked as a romance but ONLY as a romance. Either way I'm not saying the movie is god awful, it certainly had its moments (none of which were because of Howard) but it is mediocre not great.

It's sad to see you turn a statement to an insult...

Why don't you tell me why A Beautiful Mind is good? Why don't you attempt to atleast prove my look at the film wrong and show me that Howard doesn't play it safe in every movie he makes? These are things that according to you are not true but you fail to mention any proof as to why they aren't. Show me the reasoning behind your opinion don't just randomly say things and then when asked why you think that, claim its only an opinion. An opinion is formed because of something, not just out of the blue. Should politicians stop debating because they have different opinions?

You like Lynch. No wonder you don't like Directors like Howard etc...
Why would I waste my time on telling you why *I* liked it (ABM) anyways ?

I won't ask you to tell me why those 'movies' are good, cause even if you will start giving me your 'critic' opinions it still wouldn't change my mind/taste/opinion.

Someone's opinion does not make a movie good or bad. Its the craft. You don't have to like something for it to be good. I don't like Salvador Dali's paitings but I recognize that they are masterpieces for a reason.

I don't really care WHY you liked it, I just want to see why you think it's more than mediocre. My statements about the film are not entirely an opinion. Tell my why it merits being called great art because its not original or very provacative.

At this point all you can do is resort to insults since you can't even discuss or argue on this topic because your clueless. I'm suprised I even bothered to mention good art to you because your taste seems to be borderline idiotic. You wouldn't know what great art is unless your grade school teacher plainly told you.

It's amazing how you've managed to live until now. If you spoke the same bullshit to me in real life I would have put your balls in a vice.

Griffon,
You know what your fucking problem is?
Not that you blocked me of course
But the fact that you believe you’re this movie guru who knows why a movie is good and what makes the movie good. But when you’re put on the line you can’t argue worth shit.

Only thing you can say, obviously seen by us all, is that “it’s all opinion”

Are you afraid of being wrong? I mean! Argue the movie! You obviously loved “ABM” then say what made it good. Don’t go around trash talking everyone who says otherwise.

It’s an opinion whether you like a movie or not.
It’s a fact whether or not a movie is good.

You understand, bwoy?
Right now you’re acting like a fucking asshole. You can’t argue a topic… you can’t understand the argument… or… you just are too fucking stupid.

Which one is it? I say all of the above, but that’s just my opinion.

We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

How so? What factually makes a movie good? It's revenue? The amount of critics that say it's good? How many hotdogs were sold at the premier?

Seems more like it's majority rule now that defines whether a movie is 'good' or not. Lets say a movie is released on an island of 100 people, they all thought it was a masterpiece, and therefore it's regarded as such. Then the movie is released to the whole population of the planet. Suddenly it's not a masterpiece any more because only 100,000 thought it was good.

So what does that say about whether it's fact that a movie is good or not?

Please, that sentence is utter tripe Injurious, and you know it.
