That's what I see when I open almost any movies.. (.avi, .mpg, etc..)
I don't know what the fuck is up, I unstalled the huge codec pack i downloaded, i have no idea since when it does that. I tried VLC player, Cliprex, Quicktime, Winamp, WMP etc.. all the same thing.. except with DiVx player SOME movies are normal, but most are all white like that...
Anyone ever had the same problem ? I tried uninstaling all my codecs and it does the same shit..
Best Regards,
Tom.

that allmost looks like your vid card (overlay) setting got fucked up, that happend to me once it boosted the brightness, contrast and hue all the way up so all the movies had that weird ass glow to them.

for me its under Display Properties/Settings/Advanced... your video card drivers disk should have added some more tabs to the advanced dialog box giving you options to tweak the settings. if you do have those settings might look on the overlay tab. that might not help seeing as our video cards are different and i might be tottaly off, but when i had what appears to be the same problem it was when the overlay settings were boosted...
anyways if its any help

edit: i did some googling and found this: http://3dgpu.com/archives/2004/08/09/geforce-6800-tweak-guide/ -- might help.
