I'm looking for a Media Controller for my Axim X50, something that will allow me to control application launching, movies, music, pictures etc.. Almost a MCE thing with PDA remote goodness and previews on the PDA. I know this software exists but everything I've tried either costs stupid amounts (and cant be "found"), doesnt work well (trials..) or only works on the fucking IPAQ .
Id love some open source alternative but I cant find anything.
Any "remote" software would be wonderful, so give your suggested software ..
Well if you have infrared working on your MCE than you can controll it via infra red, but through wifi gives you more geek cred
I dont have MCE , well.. I have it.. but I dont want to install it. I'd like to have kind of "server" that runs on the machine which does the actual interaction with the apps, and the client on the PC. The best I've found is called Embeded Nevo (http://www.mynevo.com/) but looks to only be avalible for the friggin IPAQ! Plus I can't seem to find out if its compatible with Dell's!
