Close this Topic already.

HAMACHI it is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

only problem is with Norton Internet Security, thre is no way to make it work so that otehr people can brows or ping you when Norton Internet Security Is On.

One way is to disable it for 5 min and let the poeple/person get in and then turn it on again. Once the person is connected to ur folders, NIA cannot block it.

BattleLan 0.5 works well with even Battlefield2 which is fab over Internet via LAN.

How does Hamashi compare to even GiT? Easier to use yet powerful? Most stupid game developers aren't coding in DirectIP (asses!! Mad ) so we have to go this route as I absolutely hate using online matchmakers services. Bloody needless lag when all you want to do is connect with people within a 60mile radius.

Or you could just ditch Norton products entirely and get a real firewall suite like the one from Tiny. Of course, you need at least a moderate amount of knowledge to run TPF.

Norton products have become really shitty :-/ So bloated. Used to be really nerd only type stuff and now it's all n00b friendly and shit. Poo on em I say.

Me too, its just to make money, just for gamespy to have their logo in every game.
Thats why.
And that almost no games today have directIP, also because they wanna make money, they dont care if you are a pirate that cant play with your friends, and they certainly dont care if you bought the game and are having router problems with their matchmaking shit. They dont care, they wanna make money. Not friends.

Very easy to use en works with almost every game.
Need for speed underground 2 doesn't work but that's all the problems I can find.

Every shithead can use Hamachi, that's what makes it so great.

NFSU2 Working on Hamachi. Its rather simple, In your Need for speed Underground Directory.
There is a file called server.cfg. Open this With Notepad. Right at the bottom there is
DO NOT EDIT ANYTHING UNDER THIS LINE. Your going to ignore this... Right at the bottom is the line is

ADDR=%%bind("159.153.253.82")

Remove it completely.

thats it Smile

found it here HERE at hamachi website
