Ok a simple question.
who's going to win?
Personally I do think it will be another 3 man race but with arsenal falling quite below par with united and chelsea but well above the likes of liverpool (who I dont think will get anywhere because of their stupidly busy schedule and small squad of 'world class' players.
I do think that United will win it this year but it will be very close between them and chelsea. I said 2 seasons ago united wont win it this year (last year) but they'll win it next (this upcoming one) and I stand by that decision.
Chelsea have a great team but with all that money spent I dont think their team is much better than united as individuals nor as a unit.

Hopefully its closer than the last few years,
I really think arsenal are weakened with Vieria leaving, but then he wasent much of a force last season.
Chelsea look like they have only improved on last year, but they still have Drogba and he couldnt hit a 35 foot goal.

Well you voted other so who is it?
they've only improved on last year? isn't that the aim anyway :/ They've got a more balanced squad and with crespo back and more than likely essien after his cry baby antics drogba prolly wont be used again. I still think they made a big mistake losing hasselbaink.

yeah I phrased that wrong, Chelsea have a great squad and they have done what you need to do wheny uo are at the top and improve on it.
Crespo being back is a great move for them, as in truth his goals to games wasent really that bad before him loan to AC Milan.
drogba is handy in setting people up, but by no stretch of the imagination is he worth 20 million +
Essian... the more I read about him the more I dislike him, his whole srying for Roman to spend 32 million on him, and not (as it was reported earlier but now withdrawn to anb extent) he could possibly be on strike at Lyon, any club that even goes near him is asking for trouble (Anelka anyone)
Arsenal io think will suffer from Vieria's loss, but Hleb looks usfull, so who knows, Wenger has a knack of buying ok players and turning them into great players.
Manchester united have to start scoring goals, they had a superb shots to games ratio last season but they just couldnt stick it into theback of the net.
With VN, Rooney, Saha and possibly smith if they start converting those chances they stand a chance... if they dont I would expect to see some big changes in the January window.
I fancy the scousers to be a suprise this season, but then with Crouch being one of there major signings who knows.
I really dont know who will win it (so I didnt vote), but I just hope its closer than the past years, as no matter who you support its nice to see a good battle at the top.
JFH was a top player, and yeah I agree it was one thing that Chelsea needed last year.

Well saha his injured again and wont be back for a bit but OGS might be fit to return RVN has had a barren spell but from these friendlies he seems to be gradually getting better just dont expect the crowd to be loving ferdinand
liverpool will not surprise anyone this year, their schedule is far too busy to have a consistent rotation of players and with only a handful top class players they're gonna struggle to even field a 'reserve' team to beat the likes of wigan and blackburn.

I dunno, the World Cup is interesting and exciting but I find regular league play way to boring...basically, imo, its a buncha guys kicking the ball up and down the field for 88 mins, then with 2 left, they go all out ya know?

Well idk what wenger is doing but he has some donkeys in the shape of senderos and cygan. Without sol they really do fall to pieces at the back. I also think that arsenal prolly shoulda won today on effort / chances but I knew it wasn't gonna be their day.

Chelsea will run away with it this season. They have improved their squad greatly whereas their rivals have not. United will do poorly this season. Arsenal will probably come second. Liverpool 3rd or 4th depending on how good their fringe players play.

United haven't improved? you don't think that retaining their good players is a priority? with maturing players like ronaldo and rooney (shown tonight) they're obviously gonna be great this season. Although I still don't think they can replace quality with quality like chelsea can, their first team is equal or better to chelsea on the right day.

Chelsea winners? improved? outta this weekend you can CLEARLY see united look like the team to beat. Arse may have won 2-0 but after playing most of the game against 10 men (which shouldnt have been an instant red) you'd expect them to be much safer in the victory.

I really do think that they're good but united's front 3/4 are much better than chelsea's. Without a major injury (i.e. 2 months of play) to ruud or rooney I can see united being top goal scoers this season If one of them gets injured the goals will still come but fatigue will play a major part on the success in the end. PJS is a good player and united are well balanced this season and I dont see them dropping points to teams like portsmouth
