hy guys
i have now 1 gig, i have 3 slots on my mother board 2x256 RAM and one 512 RAM, how i can update lets say 2gigs?

simple:
throw away those two 256mb bars and buy one 1gig bar and one more 512mb bar

well does your comp support 2GB or ram? do you have enough power for it etc. it's not as simple as having the slots there

in my manual its sais there is 3 slots, total can be 3 gigs...........i dont know about power support.................

what about my setup is it worth to update from 1gig to 2 gigs and will it work okay:
AMD Athlon 2700+
2.17Ghz
1024Mb RAM
Point of View Geforce 6800GT 256

1. i have another ram quastion
i have now 512DDR400 if i buy DDR2 it will fit??
and if is diffrence in the performance if i stick two 256 or one 512??
2. and if i will have 1gb ram will fear run smoth cause now its playing couple seconds and stuck couple seconds playing... stuck...
or i need new VGA (R9600SE)(medium sets will be enough)
What are my options??????
I know my english is bad so correct me if i wrong.

also its true that u need good card and at least 1gb ram, if you will buy lets say 6800 GT and you will use 512 ram its uselles
