OK this is a weird one.. on DOOM 3 Expansion pack.

One one computer, running XP PRO SP1 with ASUS A7N8X-X board and PS/2 keyboard I cannot map the movement keys from WASD to arrow keys. Every other binding will change (i.e. Jump from SPACEBAR to NUM_0) but the movement keys will NOT select the arrow keys.

I have also installed the original DOOM 3 and that had the same exact issue but going into the DoomConfig.cfg I was able to map to whatever I wanted. The expansion however doesnt like this .. I tried going into it's DoomConfig.cfg file and make all the neccessary changes.. load the game up and it does not like the arrow keys for movement!

I have even copied the DoomConfig file over from DOOM3 into the expansion overwriting the one.. and still same issue.

I have another PC .. with same exact setup, and it works fine on both games!

I even went out and bought a new MS keyboard.. same issue!

The only difference in the 2 setups is the keyboard.. computer #2 has a wireless combo (mouse + KB), whereas the one that DOOM 3 doesnt work on has PS/2 keyboard.

Is going to a USB keyboard gonna solve my issue? Or is there a patch or fix?

have you tried switching keyboards and seeing what happens? or are they apart from each other?
I would say try that before you do anything else. Also did you buy the same keyboard again or did you buy something simular? It might be just microsoft bad drivers for said keyboard
