ok so a friends MSN account got haxed, by persons unknown, he has made a new account but cannot get on the other account to get all his contacts back. Is there any temporary files or any notepads that msn keeps of your contact list? basically what im trying to do is gain his contacts for his new account, he hasnt cleaned any history or deleted temprary files since easter so im thinking it might have stored the addy's somwhere. If any pc pros could help us out id much appritiate it,
I hate Messenger...tooo bad bad experiences with it and shit...only way i communicate with those on through the computer is internet phone calls or a forum
damn so there is no way i can get them from my comp? there are a few files in my system folders such as ListCache and adress book n stuff like that but i dont know how to read them, theyre in code :s im so new.
If you can access the account you can save the contacts list and import them onto the new account but other than that you're pretty screwed Messenger 7.5 keeps a contacts log (not a message log, its something different but doies that too)sorta thing and the other messengers prolly do it to it'd just be hidden somewhere.
