hi all here.

Pls Suggest some Very Good HORROR Games. Really that can just toggle one's heartbeat. Laughing

I got Clive Barker's Undying & though i've just started to play it -- it seems to be very different than other FPS & fantasy style games.

Pls sendme some good Reviews over some reall Horror Games in ur opinion.

Get Thief 3, grab a savegame from the Cradle level and play that, its a good scary experience

im always amazed by the Quality of Response one gets in this Forum-- my 10x Thx to all of u
Keep adding ur much needed Suggestions plz

Im very new to gaming world -- 9-10 months only

System Shock 2 has always topped in poll for horror games but i was just wondering if the Gfx will be good enough to play. i mean u can enjoy a games at its fullest with good Gfx only.

Battlecruiser is rated rather poorely at Gamespot -- community review says "POOR" with only 4.0 score

believe me, you don't have to bother about the graphics in ss2. it's the sound effects + music.
of all games i've played in my life this has got to be the most horrifying / claustrophopic / freaky atmosphere i've ever experienced.

if you get it, make sure you get the 2.23 patch here (this file is 6 years old, couldn't find a better link Razz )
and this models upgrade mod...here

aww man I remember blood + blood2, great scary games. Remember playing them while my dad was away cause I wasnt allowed, great game. BTW Doom3 is scary as he!! as well...

I have to second the Nosferatu pick. It's appropriate that that was the first reply in the thread, because that game is very atmospheric. The graphics, sound, and music all combine to form a very scary experience.

edit: make that an amazing game Very Happy i'ts much better than those mentioned here even if it is 7 years old.

i know silent hill is scary but i never played it

i hate scary games but i loved FEARdemo

Its an amazing game with a very cool and twisted story, but 0% horror or scaryness

is resident Evil 4 available for PC ? if not which version is best to play.

& what is this game "Serious Sam- The Second Encounter"

Resident Evil 4 only exist on Gamecube for now . A ps 2 version will arrive in 2 months with lot more addition ( gfx will be maybe less better but by screenshots it doen't look too much under the ones of gamecube version) .

Thief3 and AvsP1 are imho the best horror games. Too bad Resident Evil 4 is just splatter, its not scary in any sense.

Alone in the dark 1. The graphics may be cheesy nowadays but THE GAME IS SCARY ;/ Also maybe RE1. Peace,

There is no scarier game than fatal frame 1 and 2 (3 coming soon), they are only available on the ps2 and the xbox though. Games like avp2, doom3, system shock2, fear etc are like cartoons in comparison when it comes to scare factor. This is coming from someone that find doom3 quite scary. Smile

Fatal frame have no splatter or shooting whatsoever, and that's also why it's alot scarier. The only weapon you have is a damn camera.
Think japanese horror flicks and you get a better picture on what fatal frame is. It's scarier than japense horror flicks though, but the style is alot like them.

So get yourself a console and get those if you want the real deal Smile

yeah fatal frame(project zero) 1/2 is quite scary specialy plaing in the dark btw try playing the WHOLE game while in the camera mode that will scare you!! you wont play this at night anymore

silent hill 2 for pc is nice aswell specialy on the 1st 30 mins when you just walking in town and after you get to the hospital man you be scared shitless not to mention while being in the 1st building in the dark corridors Very Happy

btw fatal frame 3 will be out in japan in november according to gamespot Smile
