first u need the right cable, and a tv that supports it, im guessing u allrdy got that.
Second, in the Nvidia control(screen->prop->settings tab->advance->Nvidia) goto Nvidia Display Settings an select DualView or clone, under that Primary Display should be monitor first and tv second... then click ok/apply
If tv dont show, goto tools(still in nvidia settings), under Troubleshooting select Force TV detection, and try that.
BTW you need to plug in the cable2tv BEFORE u boot your machine, so the card finds it under boot, so if you still cant se the TV in the settings make sure all cables are connected and then reboot, and start over!
Yes and no toeffy, u can set the monitor and tv so that when u start the movie on your monitor i "clones" the movie overlay picture on the tv in fullscreen.
If u choose clone, u will not see the entire desktop on your tv(if u dont have a HDTV and are running over 1024x768 on your monitor) But anyway mess around with it, and find what ever suits your needs
But yes clone is also easyer in some ways, im running dualview with 2 monitors, works like a charm Just 2 lazy to plug my tv in also, as I dont recall Nvidia supporting 3 devices at one time dough
