I dont use torrents and i highly doubt anyone here, well reg users, use torrents as they sucks and bait out.
and I dunno if ur allowed to ask about the site if u can download stuff from it as it'd be the same as requesting info on a source ya know? still, ask a mod |

I have a little love and hate relationship to torrents... First of they make warez to avaible, too fast and too easy...
On the other hand some things are fscking impossible to find in any other way. Or how about "Full Throttle - The Movie"??? 
Virus in torrents on the other hand only occurs on non-serious sites. Any decent place will be good moderated and will have those things removed.
Still torrents are too simple for my liking...

For the first reason u stated is exactly the reason why I wont use em...makes it to far accessible to ppl with no technical knowledge and they also dont realizing what they are doing is putting others at risk. And I find that alot of ppl who actually do sell movies and shit get it off of p2p/torrents as oppose to the various other methods.
I think the p2p/torrent idea is good idea and platform for music trading as I really dont see anything illegal about that (i dont want to get into it, long debate etc).
But as for movies and games, I dislike it as there should be a lvl of "undergroundness"...like if u have the wits and intelligence to figure out how to get to whatever sources that have been in use for the "public" for years, then ya (im talking bout irc - which i also hate...fuckin xdcc's and fserves...but its somewhere to start)by all means I think ur entitled to them. Atleast u have to do some work and inquire...where as these 13 year olds and 45 year olds who think they're cool again make the entire "scene" bait out by making everything so accessible.

just because i use torrents it doesnt mean its for bad things for instance I use them to save the webhosts bw. If there's an alternate link with loadsa seeders etc. i'll use the torrent out of being kind unless the site is some major host like fileplanet then fuck em.

who puts the files for the others to get then? its comming from the scene so it must be someone in the scene to distribute them right? if anybody is putting the scene at risk its the scene itself.

Nah. It's more than lightly it's come from a leecher. Someone getting their wares from an IRC server or usenet group is probably seeding them. Just because someone leeches doesn't mean they're part of the scene. |

Ive oiften seem stuff on torrent sites thats still on the nforce front page, so its unlikely to have been on usenet first.

now i wait till they show up on usenet |

the releases showed up very fast on bt-efnet & tvtorrents
i'm lazy and i hate to download 1 million header in groups like a.b.multimedia
so i use newzbin and accept the small delays |
i dont think u should list groups
and man...well, nm, im not gunna get into it but there are prolly groups u have no clue exist under names and titles u wouldnt think to look under |
