I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

so very true.. and unfortunately it isn't going to change. I just hope that I'm allowed to die of old age before we blow this planet up.

Im not for war, but war creates change and advances civilization, if u look at history. Look at all the the tech that came out of the world wars, vietnam, desert storm 1 etc
It's man's nature to stand up and fight for his beliefs and i think its hardwired into us. Im not saying that its acceptable or right, but its the truth i'd say.
Im more afraid of the day when we're all united under some world government type thing, its gunna happen eventually. I think initially, it will work, but as the years go by, it'll turn into a world dictatorship by whomever runs it and then were info a great deal of stress and bs.
Let me stress tho, Im not for war. But Im not for a united world either - babylon style shit...

Maybe you get that impression because you only hang around with intelligent, good natured beings. But there are plenty of people who are idiotic as individuals and these are the people who bring humanity down as a whole when it comes to societal interactions.
