U should learn to read file names (im guessing p2p?  ) or maybe do a lil research as to what ur downloading...next time something seems to good to be true, look to see if there is an AOE3 beta out before u download it

Did you really think that you were the only person who somehow managed to find an AOE3 beta on your magic torrent site before everyone else? Before anyone (many people have much better access then torrents) on Nforce mentioned it?

If you mean the "Age of Empires 3 beta" thread i was the one who first got it and confirmed it fake.

nothing is wrong with downloading a beta
But what im saying is, if there was a beta, im sure some pay site like GameSpot Gold would be offering it to its members, or perhaps the company would have something on its site discussing a beta. thats what i mean by checking. And dude, ive used p2p before - kaza, napster (when it came out), that other one I cant remember and various BT sites.
More often than not, when someone has a "beta" listed there, unless u know the guy who has it, its usually a fake...sorry to burst ur bubble...
Just like before GTA:SA came out, I betcha thousands of ppl had "GTA:SA beta" in their 'my shared folder' type of list or whatever u wanna call it - available for download in other words.
Thats why i dont use p2p anymore (cept for some random music files - instrumentals mostly). P2P (and irc imo) cant be trusted...hate em |
