Did the install program ask u to reboot the computer and have u done it ?

If yes and if it always asks the cdkey, the problem concerns the authentification process. Do u have a DVD Reader or burner and did u try on different DVD players ?

Download the lastest patch. I know it sounds stupid but it worked for me. I emailed both ubisoft and the creators of starforce at the same time about this question about five months ago. Starforce replied within an hour and told me to download the latest patch which instantly made it work. Ubisoft replied one day later and gave me a whole lot of questions which i had to reply to. I replied and then ANOTHER day later they told me to use some "emergency key" and stuff. all okay i rebooted pc and put a cd key that was on cd disk...........wonder 1.4 patch does something speacial or its not worth to install? http://bf2s.com/player/66218168/ AMD Athlon 2700+ 1GB RAM Point of View 6800GT 256

if you have an ATI card the new patch is worth it because it raises the in game pixel shader version up to the highest version that current ATI cards can handle so makes the game look significantly better.

Nvidia users had all of that from the start being that its one of those "best on Nvidia" games, plus Nvidia cards support an even higher version of pixel shaders. Smile

Well, u know the install sticker stuck on the inside of the box? it should have 1 full line of numbers and letters and then a lil numerical line underneath, in this format 5555-5555 or something like that dont enter the little number underneath, only the top row...tripped me out the first time i installed, took me like 5 mins to figure that shit out lol
