Hi,
My TV supports 480P res. However, when I turn it on , on the Xbox menu, most of the games look more blurry, jaggy and really a lot more aliasing...
Why is that?

Are you in NTSC mode? have you selected 480p in the ms dashboard? are you using the right AV cables to get the 480p mode?

1.Well, my chip doesn't seem to let me choose between NTSC or PAL mode...is there any other way to do that?

2. I'm using Monster Cable via Component inputs which I think is OK.

The thing is - When I enable 480P in MS dashboard the GFX seems to be sharper maybe, however, it's more aliased and jaggy, something like an EGA game...
Is that how 480P suppose to look like?

BTW - My TV is a Toshiba with an hyper progressive feature, not an HDTV.

to switch between NTSC and PAL simply use Enigma Videomode switchdisc... It will let you change between them.

As for 480p mind that very few games officially supports that, some even requires patching before it is usable. I have never tested it myself but I doubt many games will be any good with it.

Well, that's the weird thing:
Sometimes games look great with 480P, for example, DarkWatch. However, some other games, llike Medal Of Honor European Assault (which suppose to support 480P) looks like shit, aliassed and stuff. All in all, this 480P is confusing no doubt.

BTW - did someone here ever saw a game on 720P HD? is it really something else?
