Burnout 2 was shite. They took everything that was good about burnout 1 and removed it from the game. Also, it was far too easy. I hope that Burnout 3 is more like the first game than the second.

it has more totally new stuff than stuff from the old games.
Also the Crash mode has been greatly enhanced and the normal racing is far more fun than before, more crashs all over the place Smile

Uhh...no it's not Razz

Seriously, i think that the crash mode of burnout 2 might have been more fun if i was still 5 tears old, but as it happens im actually 28 years old. So theres nothing of interest in it for me. It's one of the most redundant game modes i've ever seen in a game. Drive down a road crash into something at the intersection..blah blah blah..watch the replay..it's wank.

personal taste...
crash mode is about fun. if you want a racing game get Race Driver 2, if you want a fun racing game that's all about crashes get Burnout 3.
Seriously, if it's no fun for you to watch stuff crash then Burnout 3 is not for you, because that's what it's all about.

No it's not. It's about racing through traffic at high speed while boosting without crashing. Rolling Eyes

Yes but like he said if you want a racing game get Race Driver 2 if you want a fast paced racing game with good crashes get Burnout 3. Burnout 3 is more like an arcade game.

but it really is all about the crashes. You need to make your opponents crash to get a better boost in the normal racing mode and the Crash mode is bigger and better than last time with loads of levels.

LMFAO! Give it a rest already, it's not really all about crashes. Maybe if you're shit at it it is, but it's not supposed to be. And also, you aren't supposed to make your opponents crash to obtain boost. You obtain boost by powersliding, near misses and driving on the wrong side of the road through oncomming traffic. The object of the game is not to crash whilst driving as dangerously and crash free as possible to keep your boosts up to go faster and finish quicker Rolling Eyes

You're wrong - this game is really all about crashes. Your boost bar grows when you make your opponents crash (that's why it's called Burnout 3: Takedown). You get a new segment of the bar for each takedown. And the bar fills when you ram them too. It is essential if you want to win.

thats right, in normal racing mode you're not supposed to crash, but you're supposed to make your enemies crash as much as possible, and if you ask me that means it's about crashes...if you dont cause crashes your boost meter will be small and you're gonna lose (unless you play on easy or somethin)
