I would very much like to know that.
I currently have Nero 7 ultra edition installed, and the mdf format is not supported.
I read somewhere that you can actually mount the game image on daemon v4 and then DVD-copy it with nero.
I also read Alcohol 120 is the best choice to just burn the heck out of mdf game images.
The games I wanna burn are a lot, including Star Wars Battlefront II (alcohol clone), Dynasty Warriors 4 hyper (RELOADED), Onimusha 3 PC (DVD multilanguage version), etc...
Please anyone respond if:
1- The mount image with daemon/ DVD-copy is posible
2- The specific alcohol 120 procedure/settings in order to burn mdf images correctly with a DVD burner.

You must use Alcohol 120%, The mount and DVD-copy method will not work as Nero won't burn all the needed data. As for the settings to alcohol; It depends on what type of protection the game has. I haven't burned any games with the newest protections so I don't know which protection that need the different options. But, be aware, not all games are burnable.

In that case, like Battlefront II, I could just use NERO 7 and make a data DVD, and just put the mdf and mds image inside it. That cannot go wrong.

dvd decrypter supports mdf/mds files.

If you want to copy .mdf/.mds files to a DVD, you're better off to burn the actual images to the DVD and then mount them from there with Daemon. Because DVD burners cannot write RAW DAO data, it is impossible for them to burn most DVD protections, though these protections can be correctly reproduced if they are mounted from the .mdf/.mds images.
That said, .mdf/.mds files are the native image format of Alcohol 120%.
