Hey all,
I've got a problem with Madden 06 - it seems to go into hyper-speed mode sometimes, and that ain't no fun. The game is hard enough as is...
It's happened on two machines, both with Intel M processors - does anyone else have this issue?
Usually fixed by exiting the game and re-entering it, but sometimes it seems that it is still unnaturally fast.

I have the same problem on my machine (amd x2 4200+). Anyone with a good solution??? I'll try exiting and entering to see if that fixes the problem or not. Thanks, for the suggestion, 24Woodson.
At first it was annoying how fast it was since I couldn't precisely pick a play without going pass the one I want. I also kept getting delay of game penalties because I couldn't press the button fast enough to snap the ball.
Now, I am fairly use to the speed of the game. It does make each game go by much faster. Although, I haven't been able to control my players. It's a hit or miss with the pass play since they go by so fast. Then the running play, I just let the computer take over -- same on defense. Now the kickoff and field goals are the worst. I can't push the button fast enough because the kick bar moves way too fast. That's why I would do a fake extra point/field goal and go for the 2-point/touchdown/extra yards.
I have the latest catalyst 5.8 installed for my X800 ATI graphic card. I also have the DirectX 9 August 2005 SDK installed (which has been known to cause problems in older games). I have the SDK set to use the runtime DX9 drivers with the debug slider all the way to the left.
Per chance, 24Woodson, do you also have DX9 SDK installed?
